Commitment to warranty quality
- All spare parts and accessories are brand new.
- For OPPO smartphones, spare parts can enjoy the remaining original warranty period or 3 months from the date of replacement/repair, whichever is longer.
- If accessories need to be replaced, they will be replaced, and their warranty period will be renewed.
Warranty guidelines and principles
- A valid warranty card and invoice are required to ensure the basic warranty of your rights; please keep them safe.
- If you lose the invoice and proof of purchase and cannot provide a valid copy of either, then we will compare the date exactly three months after the product's manufacturing date with the date of the electronic warranty card and choose the more favorable of the two to be used as the de facto purchase date.
- Certain accessories (for example: user manuals, warranty card, protective case, etc.) are not covered by this warranty.
- Products purchased abroad do not receive warranty services at domestic service centers. If you need to pay for maintenance, please consider the cost of materials and make an appointment with the Service Center in advance.
- Accessories (leather case, screen protector, and protective cases, etc.) may affect the phone's normal operation, so you can request the replacement of accessories without replacing the phone.
- All replaced parts belong to OPPO.
Instructions for the out-of-warranty period
This warranty does not cover man-made damage or any of the following cases that will appear below; however, paid repair services are available.
- Beyond the warranty period.
- Without a warranty card and valid proof of purchase; however, an exception may be made if the customer can prove that the phone is within the warranty period.
- Official commitments not originating from OPPO, such as from unauthorized dealers.
- The phone has been damaged due to improper use (such as dropping, squeezing, liquid damage, etc.).
- Failures and malfunctions due to uncontrollable external forces (such as floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning, and traffic accidents).
- Failure to use and maintain the product according to instructions intended to prevent damage and malfunction, such as use in extreme temperatures, use of non-OPPO accessories, etc.
- Natural wear and tear of the product (for example: casing, buttons, screen, accessories, etc.).
- Disassembly, self-repair, modification, rooting, and other human actions that cause damage.
- OPPO accessories, such as car chargers, Power Bank, and Bluetooth® headsets, are not covered by the warranty service if the Serial Number is not traceable.
- Before sending the device for maintenance, the demo was removed from the Service Centers.
Important notice and reminder regarding sending phones for repair
- When sending a phone for repair, please bring a valid copy of the purchase and the original invoice (the proof of purchase and invoice must be completed and stamped by the seller and must not be altered, otherwise they will be considered invalid). The warranty card stickers with the IMEI serial number must not be torn, otherwise the warranty will be considered invalid.
- Before sending the device for repair, please back up and then delete all data (such as phone numbers, messages, photos, etc.) you have stored, to avoid any loss or disclosure of personal data during subsequent repair. Respecting your personal privacy, the OPPO Customer Service Center and its staff will not be responsible for backing up or restoring your data and will not be responsible for any consequences arising from the loss or disclosure of your data.
Other information
- In cases where the phone has been liquid-damaged, exposed to moisture, or subject to unsupported modification, other problems may arise after the phone's examination and processing. For example, if the phone could make calls before repair but cannot after, this will be considered a problem caused by prior damage and cannot be repaired. The Customer Service Center may ask you to sign a separate repair agreement before repair in accordance with these cases.
- If the service policy conflicts with national laws and regulations, then all national laws and regulations take precedence.
- In case you request the mobile device unlocking service for any reason, we inform you of the following:
- (i) The existing OPPO software on the device will be completely erased and new OPPO software will be installed according to the device model, which will result in the loss of all data and information contained therein.
- (ii) You must provide proof of purchase of the device, such as ID, warranty card, proof of purchase, and any other required documents for verification purposes, otherwise OPPO and/or the authorized service provider will reject your request for unlocking service.
Considering the above, you expressly agree that the device unlocking service provided by OPPO and/or the authorized service provider is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, OPPO and/or the authorized service provider makes no express or implied representations, promises, or warranties that the provision of the device unlocking service will satisfy your requirements, nor does it guarantee the timely and secure provision of service, nor the occurrence of any errors resulting from the provision of said service.
